Job Description : Corporate Accounting and Reporting Lead Job Location: Abu Dhabi Requirement: Should be a certified Chartered Accountant/ CPA/ ACCA or CIMA Atleast 12 years’ experience in accounting, reporting, consolidation, Accounts Payables/Receivables, and internal control and regulations. Experience in SAGE/SAP, Treasury operations and reporting for a listed entity is desirable. Knowledge and understanding of general Financial and Fixed Assets Accounting (GAAP and/or IAS) and business principles Job responsibilities: Standardize and own of the Record to Report process globally. Timely and accurate preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS. Timely and accurate reporting to third parties such as Banks, Customers and Suppliers. Ensures financial and business-related legislative compliances are met and reconciled. Develop, streamline, and enhance financial management and reporting processes. Reviews and develops effective and robust financial policies and control procedures. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements, reconciling accounts payables and receivables, compute taxes and support preparing tax returns. Coordinate the External Audit process and assure implementation of Accountability Authority regulations as such as ADAA regulation and ICOFR risk. Ensures internal controls and systems are effective implemented as per Regulation and efficient. Development of appropriate tools, assumptions, and risks analysis. Develops risk management strategies and processes. Provides timely and robust financial analysis for the Statutory reports to support business decision-making. Analyses financial records results, including corrective actions to address adverse performance. Reviews and wherever appropriate, develops and implements information systems to meet organisation’s needs, including: o Financial system o Client information/Contract management system o Human Resource/Payroll system. Develops and maintains effective communication and positive working relationships with the internal (globally) and external stakeholders. Actively manages Finance Team members, in accordance with the organisation’s HR policies and processes, seeking specialist advice from HR Team as required. Ensures that all Finance Team members are supported to maintain excellence in service delivery and have opportunities for professional development. Comply with Health and Safety guidelines including the identification of hazards and their subsequent elimination, isolation, or minimization.
