Mechanical Maintenance Manager

Job Description : Manager - Mechanical Maintenance CENTRAL AFRICA FOR MINING AND MINERAL PROCESSING Qualification : BE-Mechanical Experience : Min 12 Years Job Description: · Candidate must have experience in large scale industries / mining / heavy industries / Beneficiation plant / Concentrator* · The candidate should have experience in Maintenance of Metallurgical /Chemical Plants Crushing and Milling, Leaching typically including Crushers, Ball Mills, Belts Conveyors, Thickeners, Slurry Pumps, Belt Filters, Filter presses, cathode stripping machines and Overhead Cranes* · He should have handled the leadership position of heading the Mechanical department of 3-5 years in large chemical plants. · He will be responsible for implementing the best in class maintenance practices along with the · Preventive maintenance plan and Condition monitoring of the equipment. · Responsible for spares planning and shutdown management of the plant. · Responsible for maintaining the maintenance cost within the budget · Responsible for ensuring continuous maintenance support to the operations. · Coordinate with the operations department and conduct preventive and shutdown maintenance of the plant and equipment. · Monitor and record process maintenance parameters and bring-in change wherever necessary. · Generate MIS, daily maintenance record, downtime and shutdown data. · Design and manage the shift and ensure deployment of resources. · Drive safety consciousness across the plant area and bring-in safety standards and ensure the safety of men and materials. · Ensure compliance with quality targets. · Ensure monitoring, measuring and reporting the maintenance-related process performance and general issues. · Analyse problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to ensure that all team members can identify root causes and take fast effective action to resolve the problems. · Working closely with shift supervisors to ensure maintenance handovers are effective. · Ensuring that the training skills are met for current and future demand.
