Group Finance Controller

Job Description : GROUP FC MALAYSIA You will be responsible for the finance and accounting activities for Malaysia and Singapore. Be responsible for the timely generation of the group’s financial statements for monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting Ensure compliance to group accounting policies Spearhead preparation of tax transfer pricing documents working with professional advisers Ensure a strong internal controls environment by developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls Drive continuous process improvements in the controllership space and be a key figure in the finance transformation process To succeed in the Group Financial Controller job, you need to have the willingness to personally get involved in detailed work as necessary to get the job done Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ICAEW, ASCPA, MICPA) Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience Thorough understanding of IFRSs and Tax Familiarity with SOX is highly beneficial Able to articulate and present issues to the business leaders
