Procurement Director

Job Description : PROCUREMNT DIRECTOR THAILAND An exciting Procurement Director (x 1 vacancy) job has just become available at one of the leading FMCG company based in Bangkok, Thailand. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Director, this is a role for a procurement professionals who is expert and has proven achievements in raw material, packaging material included contract manufacturing in food and beverage industry with fast-paced working environment. In this business critical role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintain relationship with key suppliers, leading two-way communication with suppliers to ensure any challenges and issues are addressed within timely manner. You will be a key person to develop supply chain optimisation programs for example vender managed inventory, just-in-time delivery scheduled and reduced lead-time. This position will lead procurement team and work partnering with other supply chain functions. The remuneration package for this role is competitive with allowance, performance bonus, provident fund and medical insurance. Develop and negotiate long-term purchasing contracts which include favourable pricing, payment terms, volume growth incentives, year-on-year productivity gains (savings) Standardise procurement processes and policy across the organisation in support of reducing cost and improving supplier performance Lead the contract manufacturing supplier selection process through management of formal RFP, RFQ and RFI processes Manage planning and coordination of product transfer to the contract sites, develop budget, time-line and work cross functionally to achieve seamless product transfer to the contract sites, drive risk management as part of product transfer Manage and develop supplier's contract compliance Lead site issues investigation. solution and provide issues escalation to the right level Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain or related field At least twelve years work experience in procurement and contract manufacturing in food/beverage business Excellent business acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skill High level of understanding about the technical aspects of food procurement, having knowledge of supply market fundamental Good analytical, interpersonal, communication and influencing skills Proven ability to lead and influence teams of professionals; vendors; clients to achieve cost effective and timely business focused solutions
