12 yearsJob Description : SCM NIGERIA 12-15 years experience Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Supply Chain Manager to join our steel plant in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the supply chain process of the steel plant, from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished products to customers. This is a full-time position, and the candidate must be willing to work on a bachelor status. Key Responsibilities: · Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's objectives and goals. · Manage the procurement process of raw materials, equipment, and services required for the steel plant. · Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. · Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels for production and minimizing excess inventory levels. · Monitor and analyze market trends and demand patterns to identify opportunities and risks in the supply chain process. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and logistics, to optimize the supply chain process. · Develop and maintain supply chain performance metrics, analyzing data and identifying opportunities for improvement. · Implement cost reduction strategies while maintaining the quality and timely delivery of products and services. · Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including safety and environmental regulations. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. · Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management in the steel or related industry. · Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, logistics, and supply chain operations. · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. · Strong communication and negotiation skills. · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. · Knowledge of Nigerian laws and regulations related to supply chain management is a plus. · Willingness to work on a bachelor status.
