Job Description : VP HEAD OF OPERATIONS EXCELLENCE DUBAI Are you ready to be part of a dynamic leadership team? In this role, you will provide oversight on continuous improvement of Supply Chain, Operations Engineering and Quality. The organization is moving towards the deployment of the World Class Manufacturing System and best practice deployment. The role will require collaboration with Strategic Business Unit VPs and deploy effective operational strategies ensuring the safe production of high-quality products at the lowest operating cost. Key Responsibilities Strategy Develop and execute short-and long-term strategies to enable best-in-class, lowest cost manufacturing across both BUs for all accountable functions. Direct and monitor the performance of manufacturing shared services across business units. Operations Engineering Ensure effective asset refresh strategies based on SBU strategies and short-term requirements. Partner to develop and manage capital budgets and expenditures in support of manufacturing, quality, maintenance and cost reduction initiatives, and other programs with the BU management teams. Quality Ensure sound quality systems across the organizations. Supply Chain Partner to deliver the redesign of our supply chain processes in support of improved planning and processes. Sustainability, Environment, Health, and Safety Lead the design and deployment of sustainability and traceability programs for the organization Lead the design and deployment for EHS programs to foster a safety-first culture. M&A Participate in due diligence processes for potential acquisitions and divestitures including supporting cross-functional acquisition integration activity. Talent and Engagement Ensure operations shared services have adequate talent capabilities to deliver best-in-class support to SBU’s and work in developing a highly engaged work environment Qualifications 20+ years of progressive multi-functional leadership experience in core manufacturing industry Operations or P&L leadership of large-scale businesses Experienced candidate who has a proven track record of delivering exceptional results in a complex, matrix, multi-platform manufacturing environment and has driven the development and successful implementation of a Manufacturing strategy and system. Proven ability in re-structuring an existing footprint and building a new strategy for the future to drive profitable growth. Track record of business and/or operational excellence transformation. Experience in mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and integration. Builds organizations / active talent manager. Extensive experience across geography with exposure to Africa markets
