Planning Director

Job Description : PLANNING DIRECTOR VIETNAM In this business-critical role, you will provide continuous leadership and coaching to a multinational team of planners across multiple offices in Asia. Lead a team of supply planners Develop strong relationships with existing supply partners – evaluate strengths, weaknesses, and risks Establish best practices for supplier management and on-time shipment performance Measure supplier key performance indicators and present findings back to leadership team Participate in long-term business planning, assessing future capacity requirements, recommending grow/main/divest strategies Effectively support multiple, competing, high-priority tasks/projects with varying deadlines 10-12 years of supply chain leadership experience Advanced to fluent command of English – strong communication and negotiating skills Experience managing large sets of data; create reports and dashboards to be presented to an executive audience Cross-culturally sensitive and agile – can connect with and effectively manage team members across different backgrounds Strong bias towards structure and process alignment Strong understanding of how supply chain planning team’s actions impact reporting and decision-making for leadership team
