The Role: Provides leadership and strategic direction to the business's overall sales programme, inclusive of expansion opportunities, within the current consumer base as well as, in new regional and international markets. Leading, designing, and implementing the business's development activities and corporate branding to increase revenue and gross profit. Spearheads the sales department's strategy development initiatives, ensuring that they remain consistent with the business's overall strategy. Increase sales revenue through the design and implementation of appropriate strategies for the each of the business's sales channels and brands. Conducts business analyses, performance analyses, competitive analyses to forecast and determine the effectiveness of sales initiatives and implement necessary changes and solutions. Implementing revenue forecasting. Reporting on the progress of a company's revenue goals. Building and implementing a company's customer acquisition strategy. Responsible for leading strategy development, implementation, and on-going evaluation of the distribution network. Define optimal routes to market solutions for channel saturation and expansion. Lead annual distribution planning process in scheduling, plan preparation, KPI's, initiatives and consolidation of aligned and uniform BU approach. Optimized Go to Market Strategy through Structure, Value chain, P&L & Partnerships Achievement of the objectives of volume, execution, and distribution, ensuring the correct implementation of the planned actions in the annual Business Plan Yearly volume targets to yield increased profitability. The Person: Degree educated ideally with a Masters in Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Finance, or any other business-related field. 10 years of working experience in a high-level sales position in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment, preferably working as director of sales or director of advertising. Successful record of accomplishing and exceeding goals in his managerial positions while growing and scaling a sales organization of a sizeable business. FMCG sales experience Capable of conducting standard performance, market, and competitive analyses. Passionate and consumer-oriented; the candidate must have a passion for interacting with others, a strong commitment to delivering excellence to consumers, and have a sense of urgency and resourcefulness. Commitment to quality, have a can-do attitude, be capable of working independently, as well as with others, be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision, be able to handle numerous tasks and meet tight deadlines, and demonstrate composure in times of uncertainty, inspiring the same in his team. Superior leadership skills, being able to move a vast cross-functional group of professionals in a single direction and with a common vision and objective.
