General Manager Operations

Job Description : General Manager Operations UAE to lead our team at a Carton Manufacturing & Packaging Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including production, sales, finance, and administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing management, with experience in the carton manufacturing industry. Develop and implement strategies to achieve business goals and objectives, including revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Manage and direct all departments within the business, including production, sales, finance, and administration. Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers, and oversee the negotiation of contracts and agreements. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop action plans to address any issues or areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and efficient operations. Manage the hiring, training, and development of staff, and provide ongoing support and coaching to team members. Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, and monitor actual results against budgeted targets. Provide support to the Board of Directors on ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed. Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in manufacturing management, with experience in the carton manufacturing industry preferred. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and team members. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience using manufacturing software such as SAP or MRP a plus.
