Finance and Accounts Head

Job Description : FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING HEAD BASEL, SWITZERLAND In this role you will be responsible for all general ledger activities for over 30 units. Ideally you will have some managerial or training experience as you will be leading a small accounting team (AP/AR/GL). Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements of over 20 subsidiaries according to OR and IFRS Consolidation of the annual accounts of the Swiss subsidiaries Leading and training a small team of 3-5 accountants Financial planning (e.g. liquidity planning) and optimization of current assets Management of fixed assets, cost center and cost unit accounting. Participation in the integration of new subsidiaries Indirect and direct taxes according to Swiss regulations (VAT StG, VSt) Main contact for internal and external stakeholders Development and support of internal processes and control mechanisms (ICS) Strong involvement in ad hoc projects Specialist training in finance and accounting or comparable (federal certificate) Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting Experience in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ideally according to OR/IFRS You have experience in leading small teams and a "hands-on" leadership style Extensive knowledge of Excel required German and Italian language skills (advantageous) IT systems: Navision, Lucanet and PowerBI (an advantage) Eligible for a work permit in Switzerland
