Production Planning Manager

Job Description : Production Planning Manager for one of our production units in Mombasa, Kenya. The Ideal candidate should be able to: ? Analyze the factory’s cost and quantity of the merchandise to be produced to meet the said cost in coordination with I.E Department. ? Control the CM of the factory by implementing proper manpower and machineries with the help of IE Department. ? Allocation of production based on different types of fabrics and styling, an individual factory can handle in terms of complexities. ? Generalize the capacity of individual factory and monitor that it should be utilize completely. ? Supervising the information and material flow from individual department on regular basis. ? Implementation of proper system in Production & Planning. ? Developing outsourcing unit for Production, Embroidery, Printing for Exports and Domestic Production. ? Category wise allocation of plan suiting to requirements of Retail Showrooms. ? Order Booking, Planning, Scheduling and Distribution. ? Implementing Systems to make sure that T&A are followed strictly by individual merchant’s fabric and stores sourcing department. ? Supervising the fabric and trims flow and procurement plan on regular basis to avoid last minute surprises. ? Implementation of process plan Embroidery, Printing, Washing and Coordinating with said department head for smooth flow of process. ? Monitoring the shipping schedule as per Target Value. ? Keeping track of the shipping in terms of Quantity and Value. (Informing Export Department Monetary - value of goods buyer wise which will be shipped in the given month.) Good in English Communication Skills. Good in Computer Application and ERP knowledge. The ideal candidate should have minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in reputed garment manufacturing and exporting units. Educational Qualification: Bachelors / Master’s degree The salary budget for this position is USD 2000 plus accommodation & other benefits.
