Job Description : FC PAPUA NEW GUINEA Qualification: MBA-Finance/CA-Inter/Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant Experience: 10-12 years post qualification in a Manufacturing Environment Candidates should have hands-on fundamental techniques of the accounts, Management Accounting. Also exposure on Accounts/Finance/MIS/Costing and Commercial too- dealing with suppliers. Status: Bachelor Job Responsibilities Overall responsibility for the finance functions of the operations, including management of both expatriate and local finance and administration teams Management of the working capital requirements of the operations including effective credit control, ensuring timely payment of trade creditors, management of banking facilities and hedging activities considering the foreign exchange exposure of the company Proper, accurate and timely accounting of stocks (including the oversight of monthly physical stock-taking) and upkeep of perpetual inventory control system Sourcing, purchase and costing of raw materials and other products from both overseas and local market, maintaining regular finished product costing and pricing in line with profitability expectation Maintaining books of accounts, payroll and supervision of administrative staff Secretarial functions as required, such as filing of company returns, GST returns, Group tax returns, Corporate tax returns and fulfilling other legal obligations of the company with appropriate provincial and national statutory bodies Formulation of financial budget and timely preparation of monthly MIS and reporting of comparative actual results, finalisation of accounts and efficient preparation for annual external audits Liaison with third-party entities such as banks, auditors, government departments, insurance providers, lawyers as required
