Finance and Accounts Head

Job Description : HEAD OF FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING UAE A very successful family-owned Group in Dubai is looking for a Head of Finance and Operations matching the following description: Candidate must own the Financial and Operational responsibilities of the entire business of Distribution as well as Retail, should have a pleasing personality, high degree of integrity and possess the following personal traits: Leadership, management, strategy, negotiation, organization, motivation, communication [written as well as oral] systematic, self- motivated. Experience: Should have a prior experience in financially as well as operationally managing and remotely controlling both [FMCG] Distribution as well as Retail [Consumer] business in the region and globally [including the related logistics]. Should be commercially astute and be able to review and analyze contracts skillfully. Candidates who have worked with family-owned business will be preferred; Should be able to handle HR, IT and other backend functions/ operations with ease; Should demonstrate ability to handle all work within agreed timelines. Preferably, possess a top-down view of business with the ability to work a bottom up. Should have the ability to free the CEO of all financial and backend matters while playing a strategic and advisory role to the CEO and take on responsibilities at their own instance. Education: Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant with related experience. Experience: Should have a minimum of 15 to 20 years' experience in a similar role in FMCG, Retail within a family-owned business in UAE/ GCC.
