General Manager

Job Description : GM CAMBODIA FOR AUTO strong regional giant with multiple business lines and established business presence across Asia. In one of the up-and-coming business units with focus on premium brand distribution, they are looking for a seasoned general manager based in Cambodia. As a General Manager reporting to the Group Managing Director, you will be overseeing the overall business operation with ultimate goal to turn the business into a leading brand distributor. Leading a team of 300+, your primary goal is to liaise with/look after all brand principles and bring them to the local market in Cambodia (one of the fastest growing markets) and take care of all branding, go-to-market strategies, sales management and logistics etc. At the same time, with the upcoming digital trend, you will also be looking after the digital and eCommerce strategies. To qualify, you should be a seasoned general manager with full P&L responsibilities in field of luxury/premium brand - either from brand principle or brand distributor. Strong Asian experience is a must while you should ideally have some good exposure in emerging market. Solid understanding about consumer preference, pricing strategies and retail operations will be critical and you should be an excellent negotiator with external parties like property developers, brand principles etc. You need to be a self-driven and passionate individual who are interested in driving business forward.
