Group FP & A Manager

Job Description : GROUP FP & A MANAGER MALAYSIA In this position, you will be responsible for FP&A related matter and become a finance business partner supporting multiple divisions by providing comprehensive, timely and effective financial analysis, insights and recommendations. Prepare quarterly forecasts of group financials Lead discussions with the business teams to understand variances in forecasts Prepare quarterly audit committee slides Assist the finance manager in the preparation of five-year projections and annual budget Critically analyse budget submissions from the business teams Lead discussions with the business teams to understand the underlying budget assumptions Identify any financial reporting issues and initiate measures to enhance reporting Perform detailed analysis of actual results against past trends and approved budgets, with close interaction with business partners and shared service teams Review quarterly announcements, segment reports, annual reports and reports required by management To succeed in this Group FP&A, Assistant Manager role, you must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Degree in accounting or equivalent, preferably CPA At least 12-15 years of relevant experience in audit or an MNC Proficient in Advanced Microsoft Excel, Words and PowerPoint Hands-on experience in Anaplan is an advantage Familiar in analysis of group results and SGX reporting and deliver within strict timelines in a fast-paced environment Tenacity and problem-solving skills
