Job Description : PET Injection Molding Process HEAD GEORGIA USA • Lead and assist all Shift Technicians and production managers in the startup and shutdown of Injection Molding machines and all other manufacturing equipment related to production, dryers, and blower’s material feed systems. • Assist technicians with prioritization of breakdowns. Minimizing technical downtime. • May be used as technical lead on projects, machine and system upgrades and new machine Startups. • Maintain quality standards of all preforms being produced. • Motivate employees in the department • Recommend discipline and Perform training for all Shift technicians. • Assist in the training and safety programs for the department • Assist Production Manager with leading safety training for department • Evaluate off Shift Technician for strength and weaknesses and train accordingly. • Maintain or improve Scrap and uptime KPI for the department • Optimize cycle times for best quality with fastest cycle time on injection machines. • Perform Repair and maintenance as needed • Make sure machine are clean of oil, resin, colors, preform and dirt. • Ensure that the machine blocked cavity matrix is up to date with the product running • This list is not inclusive, and you may be asked or required to handle more responsibility as workload may deem necessary. • Perform adjustments, alignments and calibrations on equipment • Responsible for providing additional training to Technicians • Available for emergency call-in • Support BRC Certification and Implementation • Process and optimize all process for best quality and cycle time • Minimum of 20-25 years as a Injection process Engineer with PET plastic • Excellent leadership and organizational skills and ability to motivate people • Injection machine Processing a must • Knowledge of compressors, chillers, cooling towers, and pumps preferred • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems preferred
