Engineering Head

Job Description : HEAD ENGINEERING NIGERIA FOR REFRIGERATION PLANT Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade vessels and base, Refrigeration Plant system included compressor. Test and commissioning Refrigeration plant after repair, maintenance. Overhaul Compressor, test and commissioning Compressor after repair & maintenance. Supervise and monitor the team activity. RESPONSIBILITIES: Operation & planning: · Take note and action of the daily job planned on vessels and base from his line manager. · Dispatch the activities to his team according job list, base maintenance plan. · Propose suggestions for improve and upgrade refrigeration plant maintenance standard. Administrative, communication, reporting: · Communicate effectively with his line manager · Fill by daily job done report and transmit to his line management · Built a database of spares fitted on refrigeration plant on vessels and or base · Advice in time his line manager, spares needed related to his job plan · Propose solutions for improve Refrigeration Plant department · Keep record of his overhauling and maintenance activity Safety: · Maintain a safe and secure work environment · Follow and apply safety company policies Required Candidate profile Requirements: · 10 years of minimum experience. Diploma in refrigeration Plant Engineer graduate / or diploma in electro technical graduate with high experience and practice recognized during previous employment. · Highly experienced in compressor overhauling. · Ability to prioritize works according to urgency and importance. · Ability to multitask, follow up on different projects, respect deadlines. · Problem solving, autonomous. · Knowledge of administrative works (reporting- database). · Ability to work under pressure. · Ability to transfer his knowledge to trainee. · Continually updating himself with knowledge of ship maintenance. · Flexible with work hours.
