Job Description : CEO EAST AFRICA A COMMERCIAL BANK BASED IN EAST AFRICA is seeking a highly qualified and experienced candidate for the position of Bank CEO due to planned retirement of present CEO. Job Role : The CEO is responsible for the daily operations and strategic leadership of Bank and reports to the Chairman of the Board. The CEO will be responsible for : · Formulation and implementation of policy, strategic business planning and development, treasury, loans, and recoveries and managing day-to-day activities of the bank. · All the activities of the Bank would be the responsibility of the CEO, guiding and working together with the team. · The CEO is responsible for liaison with the regulators, major customers, and other Bankers. Requirements: · At least 15 years of work experience in a medium-sized commercial Bank · Work experience in various Banking Departments in a senior capacity. · A person with Accounting or Banking qualifications would be preferred.
