Job Description : XPORT HEAD INDIA Candidates at GM/President/Director level may apply for this role. As per industry standard(average), your current salary should be minimum 40Lacs(there could be variance but the major talent pool is at that level for international markets). Delhi/NCR candidates are preferred. Looking for Head of Exports. This role will focus on managing and expanding exports business in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector, specifically targeting India, US and Middle East markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in successfully developing and penetrating these markets and possess in-depth knowledge of FMCG products. Only candidates who have handled exports of fmcg products should apply Responsibilities: 1. Market Analysis and Strategy: · Conduct thorough market research and analysis of the FMCG industry in the US and Middle East markets. · Identify market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to formulate effective market strategies. · Develop a comprehensive export plan to maximize business opportunities and market penetration. 2. Business Development: · Lead the development and implementation of business development initiatives for FMCG exports to the US and Middle East. · Identify and establish strategic partnerships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders in target markets. · Negotiate and finalize contracts, pricing, and terms of trade agreements to ensure profitability and sustainable growth. · Monitor market dynamics and adjust strategies as needed to maintain a competitive advantage. 3. Sales and Revenue Growth: · Set ambitious sales targets and objectives for the exports division in alignment with overall company goals. · Drive sales growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing initiatives. · Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities. · Regularly analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. 4. Team Leadership: · Provide strong leadership and guidance to the exports team, fostering a high-performance culture. · Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate team members, ensuring their professional development and success. · Set clear performance expectations, monitor individual and team performance, and conduct regular performance evaluations. · Foster effective cross-functional collaboration and communication with internal departments to optimize operational efficiency. 5. Compliance and Documentation: · Ensure compliance with all relevant export regulations, trade policies, and legal requirements. · Manage all export documentation, including contracts, shipping documents, permits, and certificates. · Coordinate with internal teams, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Qualifications and Skills: · Any Bachelor's degree/ Bachelors in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. · Minimum of 15-10 years of experience in FMCG exports, with a strong focus on the US and Middle East markets. · Proven track record of successfully developing and expanding business in these markets. · In-depth knowledge of FMCG products, industry trends, and consumer preferences. · Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market data, identify opportunities, and develop effective strategies. · Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. · Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing and motivating a team. · Proficiency in export regulations, documentation, and trade compliance. · Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. · Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
