Job Title: Store Incharge - Plastic Manufacturing Company (Nigeria) Experience - 8+ Years Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Incharge to oversee the efficient management of our store operations within a plastic manufacturing company in Nigeria. The Store Incharge will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, managing stock movements, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring smooth functioning of the store. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of store management in the manufacturing industry. Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, stock movements, and stock reconciliation. Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile any discrepancies, and implement necessary corrective measures. Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure an adequate supply of raw materials and other necessary items. Store Operations: Oversee the receiving, inspection, and storage of materials and finished products. Ensure proper organization, arrangement, and labeling of materials and products for easy retrieval. Implement and maintain effective storage and retrieval systems, ensuring optimal space utilization. Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure timely availability of materials and products. Plan and execute the dispatch of finished goods to customers or other designated locations. Documentation and Reporting: Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant data. Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, transfers, and returns. Prepare and maintain documentation related to stock control, including delivery notes, invoices, and purchase orders. Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of storekeepers, ensuring proper training and development. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance to team members. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and ensures high productivity. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards. Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment in the store. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to inventory control measures and eliminate potential risks.
