Procurement Head

Job Description : PROCUREMENT HEAD INDONESIA In this business critical role, you will be responsible for developing end-to-end procurement system including forecasting, market trend update, material sourcing, supplier management and audit, supply availability. Manage and develop end-to-end procurement process of raw materials, commodity, and packaging materials Understand economic factors impacting material price cycles and trend Responsible for tracking markets and gather information on supply and demand and price determining factors Analyse and forecast on price trends to ensure supply compliance Develop procurement strategies and negotiation of contracts to maximise the benefit to the organisation Perform cost benefit analysis and benchmarking of the market and competition to find cost saving opportunities Ensure and improve vendor performance and product quality Initiate alternative sources of materials Responsible for resolution of issues related to material quality, specifications, revalidations, damages/losses and commercial issues related to materials vendors To succeed in this Head of Procurement role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with other teams and internal matrix. Minimum Bachelor's degree from related field At least 10 years' work experience of management level in procurement category Proven experience in strategic procurement and contract management Proven achievement in cost saving project Proactive, can-do attitude, having ability to work under pressure and solve problems High level of proficiency in English Self Driven to build and setting up new procurement system from scratch Good communication and strong leadership Good stakeholder management
