Operations Director

Job Description : Director – Operations for a leading Retail food & Beverage Chain based out of Central Africa Experience: 15+ years Education: Graduate (Business Studies / Administration / Management, Food & Beverage Services Management, Hospitality / Tourism / Hotel Management or equivalent) • Candidate must have experience in F&B Chain / Food / Beverage / Restaurant Service or equivalent • French language in preferred • Must have managed at least 20-25 outlets • Provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the Company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively manage and grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiencies. • Provides strategic direction to Operations Manager & District Managers, establishing and accomplishing business objectives and Leadership to ensure factors / standards / brand identity is achieved. • Drives and accomplishes objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections. • Coordinates with landlords on all operational matters • Coordinate all logistics • Lead menu launches while working closely with the Corporate Chefs and Marketing Dept . • Coordinate new Outlet openings /logistics (Pre-opening checklist, POS Set up, Telephone lines/ Pest Control, Ordering of Utensils, Liaise with contractors /Suppliers etc) • Coordinate IT maintenance by liaising with IT Vendors
