Director

Job Description : DIRECTOR ACCOUNTING AND CONTROLS SINGAPORE A newly created role in Singapore exists for a Global Controller within Corporate Accounting team. This is a Director level position and requires someone who can lead a team, provide strong oversight and look after the Shared Services team. This role will require deep experience in driving accounting & audit coordination. To be successful in this role you'll require; · Ability to ensure company’s financial accounting and reporting executed accurately, completely and timely in accordance with international accounting standards (IFRS) · Provide technical guidance to business stakeholders on accounting for proposed transactions including revenue recognition (IFRS 15), debt transactions, foreign exchange and hedging, fixed asset accounting, impairment. · Oversee shared services accounting operations in Bangalore and Corporate accounting team in Singapore. · Support other financial reporting requirements, such as reporting for financing transactions,budgeting and forecasting activities. Requirements: Minimum 15 years of public accounting and corporate experience in MNC's.
