Engineering Manager

Job Description : ENGINEERING MANAGER KENYA a leading manufacturer of corrugated packaging solutions in Kenya. They are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee their engineering department and ensure the efficient operation of their production facility. Key Responsibilities: · Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our production process. · Manage the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime. · Supervise and develop a team of engineers and technicians to achieve business objectives. · Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment is kept in optimal condition. · Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. · Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. · Implement and maintain best practices in production, quality control, and inventory management. · Ensure production schedules are met and products are delivered to customers on time. · Implement and maintain systems for tracking and reporting on engineering performance. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field. · At least 15 years of experience in a Corrugated manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2 years in a management role. · Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles. · Demonstrated ability to lead a team and achieve results in a fast-paced environment. · Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions. · Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
