Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

Job Description : MECHANICAL COMMISSIONING ENGINEER OMAN Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 15+ years with PDO experience preferred. Job profile: 1.Must have managed large sizes projects in Oil & Gas industry leading a team and shall have pre-commissioning, commissioning and performance testing experience. 2.Lead a team of Mechanical startup engineers and technicians. 3.Coordinate with vendors for installation and pre-commissioning 4.Review equipment submittals of commissioning scope of systems and approved compliance of the systems/equipment as per the project requirements. 5.Prepare method statements, procedures and routines as required. 6.Report on work progress, bringing to notice the potential problems or delays and recommend solutions. 7.Assist procurement personnel in procuring mechanical equipment, materials and services, ensuring that the work produced complies with customer objectives and procedures. 8.Verifying that the submittals for all equipment to be commissioned satisfy the requirements. 9.Monitors, verifies and reports on mechanical commissioning activities to the Commissioning Lead concerning compliance with the PMP & Contractor’s schedules. 10.Perform inter-discipline checks and ensure compliance in accordance with QHSE Standards
