Job Description : HEAD OF MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS WEST AFRICA one of the leading Solutions providers in Power Generation, Electrical Infrastructure, Elevators and Escalators and HVAC in Africa. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional for the position of Head of Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operations of logistics, workshops, stores, facility, plant, and infrastructure maintenance. Primary goal will be to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction across these areas. Key Responsibilities: Define and implement operations strategy, structure, and process to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Conduct thorough analysis of internal operations to identify areas for process enhancement and cost optimization. Collaborate with top management to develop short- and long-term objectives, and ensure business strategies and plans align with these objectives. Oversee the operations of logistics, workshops, stores, facility, plant, and infrastructure maintenance to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Build and maintain trusting relationships with internal customers, partners, and stakeholders. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of operations processes, making recommendations for improvements and implementing necessary changes. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and operational excellence. Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities. Desired Profile: The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 15 to 18 years of professional experience, with a significant portion spent in leadership roles. Excellent communication skills is must. The ability to diagnose problems quickly and anticipate potential issues is vital, as this individual will be responsible for resolving them in a timely manner. Strong leadership skills, characterized by unwavering determination and personal integrity, are necessary to guide and inspire the team. A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics will enable the candidate to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
