10 yearsJob Description : COUNTRY MANAGER MALAYSIA ( EXPATS) The acting Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, pricing strategies, and managing distributor relationships across Malaysia, with further responsibilities for driving business growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Take full business management responsibility as well as full operational P&L management. Identify/mentor, train, and coach the team to execute initiatives that produce consistently high levels of performance and service. Manage yearly In Market Sales Targets and the sales team incentives with the distributor/customers. Develop yearly sales plans/forecasts based on season, historical data, current market conditions, and market competition. Involvement in appointing and changing the distributors/customers based on their performance. Scan and manage the distributors’ / customers’ performance based on sales volume, and numeric distribution. Review AC Nielsen or similar market reports in terms of channel, category, and region and provide feedback to the distributors/customers. Review and manage sales volumes, and current and future business plans with the distributors/customers at the market visits Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction. Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities. Screen the potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments. Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives. KEY INGREDIENTS Proven track record of driving revenue and market share growth with dairy and non-dairy products in the country. Bachelor’s Degree plus 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Proven ability to develop action plans set targets and complete deadlines. A strong understanding of the market must have the ability to determine expectations, measure effectiveness, and enforce quality standards. A strong distributor management background across multiple countries. Able to successfully implement and develop sales strategies. Excellent time management, organization, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
