Job Description : SENIOR MANAGER [PROJECT FINANCE MINING, DRC 15+ years experience Candidate must be Qualified CA or CMA - At least 12 to 15 years of professional experience in controlling Projects at international company (MINING industry) - Strong knowledge and experience in Financial Accounting, Planning, Reporting & Analysis, Controlling (Cash Flow, Receivables, Inventory Management, Revenue Recognition) - This position would be responsible for Project cost Accounting, MIS reports analysis and project budget and forecast. - Review past records to arrive at actual expenditure VS the Budget. - Review and monitor the project finance - Communicate and report project variance timely - every week. - Ensuring full understanding of variance against s margin deviation root cause analysis - Timely financial project - Weekly, monthly project financial report and analysis and forecasting. - Timely production of financial project review reports, monthly project financial reports and analysis, budgets and forecasts. - Ensure project financial results, risks and opportunities are critically reviewed and challenged. - Ensure that project risks and opportunities, mitigation plans and savings plans are properly calculated and disclosed at the project reviews - Provide ongoing financial advice and support to the Project Managers and their team. - Responsible for We will ensuring that costs to complete and their assumptions are properly supported and disclosed. Ensure that project financial forecasts are aligned with project schedules. - Responsible for the timely and accurate recording, preparation and presentation of project financial information. - Ensure that project financial controls for the business are effective, reliable and adhered to. - Prepares audit evidence to ensure internal control compliance in conjunction with Group Finance Controller and EA Finance - Responsible for analysis and planning of project related financials across all projects of the Kimin Location. - Conducts reviews with delivery team to validate the Project estimated to complete to ensure common understanding of project performance - Ensure that the projects adhere to an appropriate structure and costs budget. Provide timely project variance analysis with appropriate details.
