Chief Operating Officer

Job Description : COO CANADA a major player in trucking and distribution. They are looking for a Chief Operating Officer, who will report directly to the President. You will work closely with the senior management team including the CFO, VP Sales, Director of HR and the Operations Directors who will report directly to this role. The COO will oversee Day to Day operations and administrative functions to keep the business on track and ensure an excellent customer experience. The COO will ensure the operations meet/exceed budgets by achieving goals and targets. You will hold all leaders accountable for meeting the goals of their departments. With good follow up skills, you will guide them on the achievement of goals, project timelines and employee performance management. You will have held senior management positions ideally in transportation in previous roles, while having a good understanding of warehousing as well.
