Operations Manager

Job Description : Operations Manager to be based in Congo. Daily activities will typically include but not limited: · Attending morning operations meetings - with client in Congo and onsite Production Supervisor · Review, approve and provide daily reports review to Client & and cc. to Country Manager · Oversea crew transport to and from site. · Approve material requests. · Manage spares inventory and consumables. · Mobilise or expedite materials and spares. · Answer Technical Queries. Liaise with Client Buyer and service contractors. Experience required; · Background in operation and maintenance of oil and gas production and utilities facilities with a minimum of 10 years related experience, in particular, on gas treatment plants with MRU, amine sweeting, mol sieve, mechanical refrigeration process technology. · Quality and safety management. · Should hold a recognised Degree or HNC in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. · Strategic thinker that is capable of assessing risks and implementing strategies to manage these. · Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills for team environment; and able to communicate with wide range of personnel · Ability to demonstrate situational leadership. · Excellent English language skills (oral and written). · Ability to read/write French would be a distinct advantage. · International experience is essential; previous west Africa experience is a distinct advantage. · Experience of hardship posting is essential.
