We focus on designing and co-developing tailored products for the local use-case that unlocks mass-scale deployment to a completely untapped market. About the role: We are looking for a Sales Manager who will work with our electric motorbike category. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of sales representatives, unlocking resources and helping them close deals. They will be responsible for managing our CRM system to track KPI and performance The scope of this role will involve managing Kenya as a market and offering team leadership to the existing team of sales executives. Key Duties and responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue growth targets. Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the team's success in closing deals. Monitor sales metrics, analyze data, and report on sales performance to senior management Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including new markets, products, and services Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure a coordinated approach to sales activities Develop and manage the sales budget, including forecasting and tracking expenses Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and incorporate them into sales strategies and tactics Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company and its products and services Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field Proven experience as a sales manager or in a similar role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop effective sales strategies Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools Availability to travel for sales meetings, industry events, and conferences as required A passion for sales and a results-driven mindset.
