Job Description : ENGINEERING MANAGER INDONESIA FOR DAIRY This is a great opportunity for the Engineering Manager (Dairy) to redevelop group systems and processes. Your main responsibility is to oversee and managing the engineering department. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and improvement of the dairy manufacturing facilities. Lead and supervise a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and support Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, innovation, and continuous learning Set performance objectives, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide feedback to team members Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all dairy manufacturing equipment and machinery Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects related to facility expansion, process optimisation, and equipment upgrades Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on schedule Collaborate with external contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality Analyse data, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to optimise processes and workflows Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in dairy manufacturing engineering Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, addressing any potential hazards or risks promptly The successful Engineering Manager (Dairy) will have a strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering) Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the dairy industry Strong technical knowledge of dairy manufacturing processes, equipment, and maintenance practices Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and a results-driven culture Ability to analyse complex data, identify trends, and propose data-driven solutions Familiarity with relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Familiar with Aseptic Line Management
