Project Execution Head

Job Description : Head of Project Execution – Renewable Energy Projects (APAC Region) Leading Regional R.E. Developer/Owner (Owners Team) Responsible for Engineering, Procurement & Construction Seeking Renewable Energy Project Delivery Experience! Open to Expatriate and Philippine Candidates Location – Manila, Philippines one of the most successful and innovative Philippine Power Generation IPP’s with Renewable Energy Assets (Solar, Wind – Onshore/Offshore, BESS etc..) across the Asia Pacific Region. As part of their Strategic Growth Initiative and Objectives, they seek a proven Project Delivery Executive to lead their Delivery/Execution team. Reporting to the President, this role is at the SVP level and has 3 key Functional areas of responsibility: Project Engineering & Design; Procurement & Contracts; Construction & Commissioning, with the final functioning Asset then handed over to the Operations & Maintenance Team. · Lead the design and engineering of solar and wind projects, including the detailed analysis of system components, such as solar panels, wind turbines, inverters, and energy storage systems. · Oversee the procurement process, including the selection of vendors, negotiation of contracts, and management of the supply chain. · Manage the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required safety and performance standards. · Lead the testing and commissioning of solar and wind projects, ensuring that systems are operating as designed and meet all safety and performance standards. · Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering, procurement, and construction teams. · Collaborate with other departments, including operations, finance, and legal, to ensure project success. · Ensure that all projects are completed in compliance with local and national regulations and environmental requirements. · Minimum of 20 years of construction experience with at least 10 years in renewable energy project construction and at least 10 years of senior leadership on construction projects. · Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale solar and/or wind projects from design to construction completion. Experience handling battery storage projects is a plus. · Strong knowledge of solar and/or wind project design and engineering, as well as construction and commissioning processes. · Experience in procurement, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supply chain management. · Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. · Experience with regulatory compliance and environmental requirements for renewable energy projects.
