Operations Head

Job Description : OPERATIONS HEAD RENEWABLE ENERGY MALI In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational aspects of our business to ensure efficient and effective execution of our projects and initiatives. As the Head of Operations, you will report directly to the CEO and play a key role in shaping the growth and success of company. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of operations. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align operational goals with the company's strategic objectives. • Oversee the planning and execution of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. • Monitor and evaluate operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and clients. • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, permits, and licensing requirements. • Manage and optimize the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment. • Develop and maintain effective risk management strategies and protocols to minimize operational risks. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence within the organization. • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing operations team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the renewable energy or power sector. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with diverse stakeholders. • Solid understanding of operational processes and best practices, including supply chain management, project management, and risk assessment. • Experience in implementing IT systems to streamline operations. • Proficiency in data analysis and the use of relevant tools and software. • Client-centered approach and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. • Ideally, experience in the commercial and industrial (C+I) sector of the renewable energy industry. • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in French and/or local languages is a plus.
