Job Description : General Manager - Strategic Sourcing NORTH AMERICA Operations · Product & Supplier Development to support Indian and North America Business · Leading, Guiding, Conducting & Controlling Purchase along with Vendor Development · Establish strong Vendor identification and evaluation before the commercialization · Good Commercial Acumen, strategic thinking, persuasive communication, Analysis & Decision making, & Strong Customer Focus · Implement strategic Process Improvement by Strategizing and achieving cost reduction through the development of alternate suppliers and alternate materials. · Set up/ streamline stores and logistics operation, inventory control system, for optimizing consumption. · Identifying areas of opportunities for operational excellence and · cost saving; implement continuous improvement processes within the supply chain group, as well as with suppliers · Project Procurement by evaluating & forecasting delivery/execution challenges on account of time & money and suggest risk mitigation steps to ensure meeting timelines for project procurement · Ensure strong statutory compliances · Good hold on Global sourcing and developing the vendor base Will match experience and capability 45 to 50 Years Min -20 Years- 25 Year Essential: BTECH (Mechanical) · Auto-component Manufacturing companies with a customer base in North America · Good understanding and experience in casting, forging & Machining Desired Knowledge of manufacturing processes, Program Management, Engineering drawings, problem-solving skills, Metallurgy basics, Forex Pricing Knowledge
