Roles : - Lead the development and implementation of the company's Demand Fulfilment strategy for Modern and General Trade and B2B; and monitor the effectiveness of the sales strategy to ensure on course achievement of targets - Participate as a member of CET in strategic and business planning processes for the company to provide thought leadership on Demand Fulfilment of the brands and products. - Own and embed the Sales & Operation process that aligns the collaboration of Manufacturing, Demand Creation, Finance, Supply chain and other functions. - Ownership of risk management monitoring and mitigation activities for Demand Fulfilment. - Monitor and measures the effectiveness of the demand fulfilment strategies and plans, identifies gaps and puts in place remedial actions, communicating the changes in the strategy to the team. - Responsible for Demand Fulfillment P&L, developing plans and budgets for the department and its activities, monitor progress and evaluate performance. Ensure systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the department are put in place. - Leads and directs the Demand Fulfilment teams by setting clear objectives to maximize individual and departmental performance. - Develop and lead implementation of route-to-market strategy for the existing and new CIL products and brands. Building solid distribution network and market mapping to increase the availability of the company's products in the market. - Lead development, execution and signoff of business plans including growth and profitability management and negotiation with strategic partners, customers and distributors / wholesalers. - Create sales goals by predicting appropriate sales figures for various areas and groupings and predict sales figures for both potential products and existing products. - Monitor the volume of sales in accordance with the variety of products that are on the market and ensure that retail prices are kept current in accordance with supply and demand, economic strategies, market trends and relevant competition. - Initialize and implement annual sales plans by both unit and gross profit standards and examine the trends and outcomes that emerge from these implementations. - Work with the Demand Creation team and advise the shifting of retail prices up or down depending on operation costs, relevant competition and other daily fluctuating market factors. - Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential. Gather competitive information and identify trends that effect current and future growth of sales and profitability. - Lead and motivate the Demand Fulfilment teams to build winning market positions and drive growth agenda through developing and nurturing strong business relationships with leading customers and distributors. - Identify positive Demand Fulfilment team results and maintain these outcomes through motivation and incentive programs and identify and resolve any negative outcomes through employee discipline, counsel and protocol changes. - Maintain a climate that attracts, retains and motivates top sales staff. Implement, monitor and facilitate performance management programs and support staff through training, mentorship and coaching.
