Group Finance Controller

Job Description : GROUP FC BRUSSELS · Report to Head of Group Controlling · Oversee five business entities' accounting processes in preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations · Make recommendations for improving the overall reconciliation process · Manage and assist staff (AP, AR and GL) in Financial share services · Manage month end close and prepare monthly internal financial statements · Approve and check journal entries for accuracy, making sure the account information is correct · Prepare local financial reports, statutory financial statements following the established schedule · Cooperate with other departments (sale, purchase, hr., etc..) in order to reply to Auditors' requests on time · Cooperate with group tax department to file Income tax return, local files. The key qualifications required for this interim management job: You have had multiple years of experience as Financial Controller or Accounting Manager in international companies. You have managed accounting teams remotely and you have a good understanding of the IFRS standards and the local BE GAAP obligations. You liaise easily with people in the company and external partners. You are well organised and communicate clearly with your partners in the organisation and you speak English fluently.
