Finance Head

Job Description : FINANCE HEAD MALAYSIA As the Head of Finance, you will be involved in managing full spectrum of accounts which include financial and management reporting, cash flow and work directly with the commercial teams to provide the financial insights necessary. Ensure that all accounting records are properly maintained Ensure completeness of group consolidated financial reporting, statutory reporting, audit, tax and other reporting requirements in adherence to financial reporting standards and relevant regulatory requirements Work with the CEO in the preparation of annual budgets and perform periodic reporting to allow for effective monitoring of budget and for management to perform periodic budget reviews Recommend improvements to finance and accounting areas of the organisation and work closely with stakeholders within the organisation when necessary Liaise with internal and external auditors during reviews and audits to ensure full cooperation from accounting staff and compliance with all qualified requests Lead and manage a team, including selection/hiring, objective setting, performance management, coaching/development, and on-the-job training Ensure month-end closing procedures, including account reconciliations, and updating schedules are performed in a timely manner. Ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately, in a timely manner, and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure that adequate internal controls are in place and of best practices To succeed in this Head of Finance role, you must be a high energy, responsive, detail-oriented, and experienced leader with strong communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical, operational, and people skills. qualification in Business/Finance/Accounting/Investment/Economics At least 10 years of work experience, with at least five years in a leadership role Strong negotiation skills with a good understanding of current market practices Team player with strong interpersonal and project management skills, resourceful, and able to deliver results under tight deadlines Written and verbal proficiency in English Good presentation and writing skills
