Job Description : Chief Operation Officer – Plants Operation Central - Thailand Job Responsibilities This COO will responsible for overall Plants Operation and Plants P&L and lead our plants operations division to new heights of operational excellence. This candidate will apply his/her strategic mindset, operational expertise, and leadership skills to drive success and contribute to our company's growth and success. Develop and execute the overall operational strategy for the plant operations division, aligning it with the company's overall objectives. Provide visionary leadership to drive performance, improve efficiency, and maximize productivity. Collaborate with senior management and other key stakeholders to develop operational plans, goals, and objectives. Translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans and ensure their successful implementation within the plant operations division. Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. Identify bottlenecks, implement process enhancements, and utilize technology and automation where appropriate to streamline operations. Optimize resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet production targets and customer demands. Implement effective resource planning, utilization, and allocation strategies while ensuring cost efficiency. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance. Monitor and analyze performance metrics, production data, and operational trends to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions. Develop and implement quality assurance programs and initiatives to maintain high standards of product quality and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and best practices. Build a high-performing team by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the plant operations department. Provide coaching and mentorship to promote professional growth and development. Identify operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively. Implement appropriate safety protocols, emergency response plans, and business continuity measures to ensure the safety of employees, facilities, and assets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, sales, and executive leadership, to align operations with broader organizational goals. Communicate operational performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior management and stakeholders Job Requirements Bachelor or higher degree in Engineering or related field. Minimum 10 years of working experience in the field of process improvement, project management, and BPI. Proven experience in a senior leadership role within plant operations or manufacturing, with a strong track record of driving operational excellence. Deep understanding of plant operations, including production processes, resource management, quality assurance, and safety protocols. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective operational strategies and drive process improvements. Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals and objectives. Exceptional analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Knowledge of relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
