Job Description : Depot Manager NIGERIA 12-15 Years experience We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Depot Manager to oversee and coordinate the daily depot operations. The Depot Manager will be responsible for implementing productivity, quality, and customer service standards, and ensuring the achievement of appropriate volumes of products within specified time limits. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong attention to detail, and a proven track record in managing warehouse operations. Responsibilities: 1. Oversee and coordinate daily warehousing activities to ensure efficient operations and adherence to established procedures. 2. Develop and implement productivity, quality, and customer service standards to optimize depot performance. 3. Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high levels of employee engagement and productivity. 4. Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing regular feedback and implementing corrective actions as necessary. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and inventory control, to ensure smooth and timely flow of products. 6. Implement and maintain effective inventory management practices, ensuring accurate stock levels, proper storage, and timely replenishment. 7. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, security protocols, and quality standards. 8. Analyse data and generate reports on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate action plans. 9. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness. 10. Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction. 11. Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to drive business growth and operational excellence. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered. 2. Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role. 3. Strong knowledge of warehousing operations, inventory management, and logistics processes. 4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce. 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. 6. Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software applications. 7. Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements. 8. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 9.
