About The Role Reporting to the CEO, as the Head of Engineering you will lead across the core Engineering group, establishing and instilling best practices and processes for the company, Pushing the team's growth, competencies, and capabilities unlocking potential to deliver with greater quality. Responsibilities Provide thoughtful input into strategy and technology direction for enhancing existing products and developing new products Translating the company's engineering strategy and vision with the CEO and Executive Team Create an inclusive environment which will deliver enduring success through culture creation focused on high performing self-managed teams Create sustainable quality software development, delivery, and release while promoting the value of design Innovate and collaborate with all cross-functional team members in a ‘one team’ approach Lead and motivate engineers to ensure the teams are aligned with SaaS product As a part of your collaboration with the CEO, drive innovation, advance our system architecture, and improve our processes while meeting our overall product and business goals Requirements Demonstrable experience in leading high calibre engineering teams in product-centricorgs Highly technical individual, hands-on when it comes to implementing processes across the organisation and proven experience leading technical direction Comfortable engaging in technical conversations on topics such as Remix, React, GraphQL, Fela or Nx Passion for building a great culture and motivating engineers to perform at their best; our client wants all of the team to always be learning, growing and moving forward in their careers Previous experience working with peers to structure product and engineering orgs Leadership and communication skills - you can understand your audience and deliver simple and clear messages to all groups Initiative, the ability to think fast,
