Production Manager

Job Description : PRODUCTION MANAGER MEXICO Important tire company (automotive) seeks a Production Manager, passionate about the automotive industry and with experience in production process management. Location: Mexico As the Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the production process to ensure efficient operations and high-quality tire manufacturing Some of the activities to be developed are: Assist the industrial plant manager (Mexico) in different activities as: - defining factory production goals. - directing investments towards the most efficient production levels to ensure the best investment return. Support the industrial plant manager: -To ensure the production plan (volume, mixture, time) -In minimizing the transformation cost. -Ensure quality standards (and product quality) and ensure waste minimization by interacting with the quality department. -Ensure that the factory complies with health, safety, and environmental legislation and applies management/organizational systems. -Cooperate with other functions and create synergies to achieve PMS objectives. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless production operations. Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to drive operational excellence. Monitor production metrics and KPIs, analyse data, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Requirements: - Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. - Advanced English and Hindi languages (preference) - Bachelor’s degree as Mechanical Engineering (industry: automotive), manufacturing or related field experience as a Production Manager or in a similar role within the tire manufacturing industry. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. -Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment. -Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets within budget constraints.
