Plant Manager

Job Description : BLENDING PLANT MANAGER RWANDA large industrial group is looking for a plant manager in Rwanda As a Blending Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and management of a blending plant facility. Your primary objective will be to ensure efficient production processes, maintain product quality standards, and lead a team of personnel to achieve operational goals. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Your Key Responsibilitiesare: • Plant Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the blending plant, ensuring smooth production processes, adherence to production schedules, and timely delivery of products. • Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality blended products that meet customer specifications • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, train, and supervise a team of plant personnel, including operators, technicians, and support staff and Set performance goals • Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements within the blending plant operations • Master's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field. • Proven experience in plant operations management (+12 years)i n a blending or manufacturing environment • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control systems, and safety regulations • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce • Proficiency in utilizing technology and software applications relevant to plant operations and data analysis • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
