Production Operation Manager

Job Description : PRODUCTION OPERATIONS MANAGER KENYA 12+ years experience The candidate will be responsible for PLANNING, COORDINATION, and CONTROL of 24x7 manufacturing processes; ensuring that production is efficient while directing operations to ensure that the desired output is obtained at minimum cost. 1. Production Planning and Scheduling. 2. Ensuring Quality of Products as per agreed standards. 3. Focus on safe, efficient, operation of equipment and manpower. 4. Plan and establish operational standards and employee work schedules 5. Establish and maintain appropriate plant sanitation, safe working conditions, work practices & procedures in the plant 6. Plan and direct the ordering, receipt, inspection, storage, and inventory control of raw materials and supplies used in the plant. 7. Direct the cleaning and maintenance, including preventive maintenance of equipment and facilities 8. Manage the staff in the production function, including training and mentoring, and evaluation of staff performance 9. Prepare, review, and maintain operational cost and production records and reports as required; and participate in budget development and analysis of expenditures and costs 1. Diploma/ Degree in Engineering with Basic Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic Knowledge. 2. Minimum 5 years of experience leading a team of not less than a hundred in the manufacturing industry. 3. Minimum 2 years of experience in Thermoforming Industry. Preferred Not Mandatory. 4. A record of success in implementing lean manufacturing concepts for continuous improvement 5. Hands-on management style for on-ground operations. 6. Knowledge of BRC, ISO & FSSC Standards & Lean management will be an additional advantage. 7. Implement Lean, Zero Waste, and 5S Projects on the factory floor.
