Chief Financial Officer 
15 yearsJob Description : CFO DUBAI FOR CONSUMER GOODS The primary responsibility of the CFO is to prepare and implement financial strategy, policies and procedures and financial controls framework in order to ensure the achievement of various business vertical/s, institution wise financial objectives, controls and financial stability. The person will ensure internal controls are effectively in place and functional. He/she will also ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulation. The incumbent will be leading Finance functions including Financial/Management/Regulatory reporting, Forecast and Budgeting, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Annual/periodic audits facilitations, Taxation, Finance systems, Grants/Funds management and Treasury. This job reports to the MD and the incumbent shall function in accordance with the applicable policies and regulations. Responsibilities a. Define KPI – identify the critical financial metrics. As member of senior management, CFO shall assist the Vertical MD / CEO and the Board of Governors (BoG) in providing strategic direction to the institution through strategy formulation, decision-making, forecast/budgeting and its implementation/monitoring. Establishing and implementing internal controls and ensuring efficient and effective financial operations as per industry benchmarks. b. Reporting Framework, Budgets and analytic tools – Develop a structured reporting system to usher accountability on performance and returns. c. Regular reviews with Vertical, Corporate team and MD – to cover Hold Co, vertical performance, cash flow management, growth plans, and underlying M&A activities. d. Fund raise - Oversee fund-raise at each Corporate and Vertical, equity deployment and underlying M&A activities in line with valuation expectations and long-term growth plans. Monitor the overall funding status, disbursements, repayment and related reporting. e. Audit - Responsible for group-level financials (stand-alone and Consolidated) in their current form – all holding companies including the Adoption of IFRS across the board. Ensure that Financial and Accounting policies & procedures are in accordance with statutory regulations and global standards and comply with risk management and internal controls. f. Relationship and Board nomination - Ensuring maintaining effective relationships and co-ordination with key stakeholders including related entities, government bodies, etc. Represent ownership in Boards as relevant. g. Long-term planning and M&A – Help drive long-term target and activities which lead to outcomes in line with institution goals. Ensuring the availability of timely and reliable information in the organization including funding and M&A plans. Work with the wider senior management team to interact with all stakeholders, multilateral and other global and local entities to enhance the institution profile, build alliances, and source funding. Deal Analysis and Execution along with the M&A team including setting deal criteria to meet the organization’s vision h. Re-domicile of Holding Company - The ultimate holding company and the underlying companies to be re-domiciled to an agreed jurisdiction. i. Compliance - Ensure all country-level compliances are adhered to by each of the holding companies and the underlying companies. Maintain database of all company-related documents like Share Certificates, audited financials, MOA/AOA , JV agreements, and any other documents as the case may be. Ensure compliance of Board formalities and signing of executing documents. Qualifications & Experience CA 15 -20 years plus total experience, with min 5 years at senior level in a reputable institution/ organization (more than one country responsibility). Knowledge of IFRS, new technology development, etc.
