Finance Manager

Job Description : FINANCE MANAGER ETHIOPIA The Finance Manager will use their accounting expertise to assure accuracy and analysis of CO Ethiopias financial statements. This position will manage monthly reports, year- end close, external, and internal audits, review work performed by shared services team, and coordinate with external consultants on tax compliance and any other projects. Job Content · Perform account analysis and reconciliation of sub-ledgers and general ledgers to ensure accurate financial reporting · Support with the purchasing and sales review processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of recorded transactions · Review business processes for better control · Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing and supporting business transactions in compliance with IFRS · Work closely with the operations team, proving meaningful insight and analysis of key drivers’ performance · Support internal and external audit processes and requests for information · Manage and coordinate the corporate reporting requirements · Build capability in finance function, growing finance leadership pipeline and ensuring effective knowledge & expertise transfer for effective execution of finance strategies · Personal Credibility & Thought Leadership · Building Functional Capability · Perform Fair Value and derivatives accounting support for weekly reporting · Support and overview accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) work performed by shared services team · Coordinate tax filings with tax consultants · Perform other duties as assigned Job Requirements · Chartered accountant · 10 years of experience in finance and related fields – treasury, auditing, and risk management · Strong IT skills & On hands experience with SAP · English proficiency and ability to work with diverse community globally · Experience in business involving derivatives accounting and taxation laws will be a plus · Preferred industry as Agriculture / Food Manufacturing
