Chief Financial Officer

Company will help in relocation for right candidtae The CFO is responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. This role reports to the CEO & Board of Directors. Current direct reports: Finance Manager, Head of HR, Head of Legal & IT executives. Ensure the integrity and credibility of the financial management infrastructure of the company through unquestioned data integrity and accuracy, managed and audited internal controls. Implement best practice corporate governance for the company with compliance to appropriate Accounting Standards in the preparation, recording and management of financial information, and maintain audited / verifiable internal financial controls across the business. Prepare schedules for financial reporting in accordance with management and statutory requirements. Comply with all relevant Acts, legal demands, and professional and ethical standards in relation to financial management. Prepare timely reports for the Board and Managing Director on the analysis of the monthly operating performance, and the overall financial position of the company. Recommend growth and profit strategies and cost reductions. On a day-to-day basis, manage the finance and accounting, management accounting, credit management, treasury, taxation, and asset management functions. Ensure sound business relationships with the company's bankers and financiers and external auditors. Ensure borrowing costs are actively managed. Develop short- and longer-term policies, objectives, and plans and oversee the implementation of agreed financial plans. Manage on a day-to-day basis all aspects of direct and indirect taxation to ensure transactions and structures result in an optimised tax position. Direct and review the analysis and interpretation of statistical and accounting information for use in management decision-making. Maintain a regular review of income and expenditure to ensure cash flow is adequate to meet future business needs. Lead a robust budget and forecasting process including P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow forecasting. Understand and manage the IT infrastructure both from hardware & Software. Negotiate contracts with service providers appropriately to align decisions in line with the Digital Strategy manifested by the company. Experience in accounting for IFRS 16 lease rentals, IFRS 15 - Revenue Recognition and IFRS 2 for Inventory accounting. Ensure Financial Statements are prepared in line with AASB principles and work closely with Australian auditors and the Group Auditors based overseas to get the financials audited and lodged with ASIC. Skills & Requirements Qualified as CA or CPA, with additional qualifications in management Proven management experience with expertise in managing a significant and diverse finance and accounting team Ability to ensure adherence to all organisational, legislative, and common law regulations or requirements of corporate governance, financial management and financial reporting. Strong financial analysis and management skills commensurate with the ability to provide predictive modelling of future organisational outcomes and related organisational needs. Experience in a market-driven commercial organisation within Retail or FMCG Commercially Astute and skilled decision maker Highly effective at building high-performing teams. Ability to work in an inclusive culture. Working experience in Pronto or Similar ERP with advanced working knowledge in Excel, MS Office & Power BI preferred
