Job Description : EXPATRIATE ASSISTANT CHIEF ENGINEER NIGERIA Location: Sagamu, Nigeria Industry: Manufacturing Location: 10 years with a minimum of 5 years in Nigeria, Preferably in edible oil /food processing a leading food manufacturing company is seeking to hire a qualified Assistant Chief Engineer. Responsibilities: • Assist the Chief Engineer in developing and implementing engineering strategies and plans to optimize plant performance • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical problems and optimize processes • Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability • Coordinate with maintenance staff to plan and execute equipment inspections, repairs, and overhauls • Monitor the performance of critical machinery and systems, and implement measures to enhance their reliability and efficiency • Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades or replacements to improve productivity and reduce maintenance costs • Support the Chief Engineer in managing engineering projects, including equipment installations, upgrades, and expansions • Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely project iiry: execution and adherence to quality standards ?i. ...., Requirements: • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a reputable university in India
