The role forms part of the management group of a growing, dynamic, and diverse manufacturing company located on a picturesque site on the outskirts of Geelong. an end-to-end, full-service manufacturing production company utilising state-of-the-art production solutions. Offering complete private label and contract production solutions for various product lines. THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Located in the Geelong region, this newly created role reporting to the CEO will help drive the strategy and future business direction. This role is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing the finance team, driving accountability and performance. Continuing to build the finance function’s contribution to business performance through financial/commercial accuracy and integrity. THIS ROLE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR Providing financial modelling and insights on the commercial viability of strategic decisions under consideration by Senior Management, board or CEO Driving best practice, including forecasting, planning, budgets, accounting and finance policies, controls, audits, COGS, cashflow, working capital, insurance, risk management, and meeting legislative and regulatory requirements Providing finance thought leadership and deep commercial insights to the Executive Leadership team and the broader business Working cross functionally to embed financial/commercial acumen Championing the commitment to continuous improvement, project management, and agile strategies and mindsets Ownership of the Group financial planning & analysis function, including ownership of the planning cycle, rolling forecasts and long-term forecasting Controlling of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity platform, ensuring these are best in class YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING 20 years in finance and 5 to 10+ years’ experience in a similar senior role or capable of progressing into a CFO role Prior experience managing teams Previous experience within the FMCG or manufacturing industry Strong understanding of technology application in a manufacturing environment THIS IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Passion and experience working in a fast-paced, high growth FMCG environment Strong and clear communication skills, but critically, also listens well Attention to detail Ability to be adaptive and innovative YOU WILL BE: Professional Organised An excellent communicator Able to effectively build relationship
