Job Description : MD RETAIL AUSTRALIA ( open to non Australians from outside country) This company is one of the fastest-growing independent retailers in the country, with 300 stores that are a mix of both company and franchise-owned. Due to the continued growth of the store footprint, revenue and profit - the business is now embarking on its next stage of evolution. With a reputation built on delivering exceptional levels of customer service, this retail and wholesale business is now recognised as an industry leader within its sector. With an exceptional focus on "the details" and constant management of the performance of the entire store network - they are currently seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead the entire business through its next stages of evolution. About the role You will be tasked with the full management and oversight of the entire business, and across the corporate and franchise network nationally. Your confidence and track record to drive the store footprint and the profitability of the business, will be your significant points of difference. Reporting directly to the Board, you will undertake a variety of diverse tasks across all streams of your responsibility; retail, wholesale, corporate and franchise store network, operations, HR, IT and finance. Your success will be underpinned by building and managing a high-performing team around you, and your ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, including negotiations, presentations, and sales strategies with external suppliers. Your attention to detail will be second to none as you will be responsible for consistently and accurately analysing all forms of data within the business to then drive insights to make informed decisions. About you You will be successful senior leader with an entrepreneurial style from within the retail industry, and already in an Executive level role. Your differentiators will be an accomplished track record of managing a detailed and complex P&L, knowledge of both retail and wholesale, corporate and franchise stores, leading from the front as a true leader of people, and driving a culture of high performance and outcomes. Evidence of successfully leading a team nationally and driving success through retail execution will be looked upon favourably.
